What used to simply be a hobby has bloomed into a passion for showcasing life's little moments: I love the opportunity to look back on a picture and be overwhelmed by the vivid memories of the event. I shoot with a passion for life, ensuring that each photograph captures a unique and remarkable moment of history.
As a mother of three I know all too well how fast the days, months and years can pass us by. My approach to photographing children and families is to capture emotions and relationships in a photojournalistic style. I am not out to create the "flawless traditional portrait". Life isn't flawless. In fact, a photo of my youngest daughter in her sisters hat, with a runny nose, and all the energy in the world playing outside on the swing set is one of my most favorites. When I look back at that picture I can feel all the emotions and the energy from her on that day...thats what I strive to capture.
I would much prefer to see you just as you are. Be relaxed, be real, be true, just be...YOU!
This isn't just a job to me. This is my passion; this is my dream come true. When I'm behind the camera, I often wonder how in the world I got so lucky.

Two of my fine art photos won an online Photography Contest, 1st and 2nd place. The same two fine art photos were entered at our local Art Gallery Photography Contest where I won 2nd place for "In the Mist" and Honorable Mention for "Best Friends.
